ScanTrue
The true, secure way to scan. No ads, no tracking, no internet.
Price: Free · Pro $0.99/month or $9.99/year · Ads: none, ever
What it does
- Every code lands on a safety preview first — what it is, exactly what tapping will do, and the full unhidden content. Nothing opens automatically
- On-device warnings for non-encrypted links, shortened links, lookalike punycode domains, raw IP addresses and links with passwords built in
- Scans QR codes and barcodes (UPC, EAN, Code 39/93/128, ITF, Codabar, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec) from the camera or any photo, with a built-in flashlight
- Acts on a code only when you tap: open a link, connect to Wi-Fi, add a contact, dial, text, email, show a map point, copy or share
- Searchable on-device history with favorites — your latest 100 scans are always free; create your own QR codes too
- Pro adds batch scan mode, unlimited history, CSV/TXT export and custom QR code colors
